My regular catch-up with a buddy shifted into unexpected gears – from “pre-surgery” to “resurgence.”

“I’m not a recovering man,” I said, “I’m a resurging man!”

Recovery.. meh… passive. Resurgence? That’s active. Purposeful. Uplifting.

Chalmers Brothers in his book “Language and the Pursuit of Happiness” says,
“Language is generative… not just descriptive.”

— a foundational concept: language is not a mirror but a tool of creation, especially in the forms of requests, promises, and declarations.
